This superb film by Latvian, Edvins Snore (2008) fills in gaps of history vital to understanding the challenges of Europe today. There has been no Justice for the people murdered by their communist governments before during and after WW2. Until we understand how the bad ideas of Marx and Engles that founded the USSR are almost identical to the foundational ideas of Nazi Germany, Europe will remain stuck in a post WW2 funk and will not move on.

Again, Johns Hopkins comes through with stunningly important work to inform!!! This meta-analysis shows that lockdowns as implemented worldwide didn't reduce Covid-19 deaths. Yes, as so many suspected, for MOST of us, the "cure" was and remains worse than the disease . . .
This does NOT mean that taking sensible measures like avoiding potential super-spreader scenarios if you are high risk is a bad idea, simply that government mandates to do so are not effective. Furthermore, they do not analyze the relationship between lockdowns and likely increased non-COVID excess mortality, although they do mention this in their discussion.
